Alpine School Life

Today is the third day of our Chinese experience. It has been my favourite day so far, due to the fantastic activities which we were involved in. The morning began with a lovely bike ride, through the small village outside the gates of UTAHLOY international school. The people which we came across were very friendly, and we were all able to practise our basic Chinese skills. Additionally, the views which we witnessed whilst on the journey were amazing. After lunch, the next activity was kayaking along the lake surrounding turtle hill. We all had lots of fun paddling, racing, jumping off the boats, and capsizing other people. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed the day, and consistently showed support towards one and other, by encouraging to keep going when we were cycling up steep hills; and working as a team whilst kayaking, by helping each other if we fell in or lost our paddles. In summary, it was a fantastic day, enjoyed by all of the students. Friendships were developed and strengthened, which creates a better and happier vibe amongst us. We are all extremely excited for our adventure weekend at Pak Lap in Hong Kong. Amy M.
