I studied a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Teaching Degree at the University of Ballarat, where I did a major in Information Technology and a minor in Physical Education. I started my teaching degree at Portland Primary School in 2001. After 3 years of Primary teaching in the South West, I went overseas. I spent a year teaching in primary schools in England in 2005. In 2006 I had 1 more year teaching primary and secondary in the South West. At the end of 2006 I was accepted to The Alpine School. I enjoy being in the outdoors and doing adventurous activities. I have a passion for photography and now have a different vision for the environment. In 2005 I travelled to Africa and I got a lot of enjoyment out of photographing the African wildlife. Life Dream: Photographer for National Geographic My Greatest Adventures: White water rafting the mighty Zambezi & cage diving with great white sharks If I had a warning sign over my bed about how I should approach life, it would say: Make time for your family. I have 2 beautiful nieces, Logan and Caley

In just a short amount of time that I have been at The Alpine School I have gained back my energetic teaching enthusiasm that I had when I left university. It has been very inspirational, emotional and highly rewarding working with young adults from across the state. I feel very proud to be apart of a Government State Initiative, which provides year 9 students with the opportunity to gain leadership skills and life long experiences.
