Outdoor Assistant

I am very grateful for this opportunity to work at the Alpine School over the next couple of terms. I look forward to getting to know all our new students assisting them in their experiences in the wonderful Alpine environment we have!

I see outdoor recreation as a valuable experience for young people and I enjoy seeing students develop strong relationships with the beautiful places in our country.

I grew up in the nearby town of Omeo and my passion for the outdoors started with riding horses on my parents’ farm and snowboarding at Mount Hotham in the winter. In my studies I have completed a Bachelor in Adventure Ecotourism and am now undertaking a Bachelor in Outdoor Education. Over recent years I have been working as a freelance guide with school groups and instructing at Mount Hotham in the winter months.

In my spare time I love to be paddling my kayak, riding my mountain bike and when there is snow about on my snowboard! I feel so lucky to live in this wonderful part of the world.
