The School for Student Leadership (SSL), previously known as the Alpine School, from 2009 is operating three campuses:
Due to the fact that there is more capacity to accommodate student teams, there was in 2008 a review to the selection process. The review is designed to make it easier for schools, better for planning and avoid the issue of disappointment. Schools will no longer have to select students and develop a Community Learning Project (CLP) as part of the application. Now, schools will express interest, be offered a team place with allocated gender numbers, and will then be able to select the team and develop the CLP in the knowledge they are “in”! The process has been widely consulted with regions, selected schools and principals and SSL staff. Key features of the new process are as follows:
Schools should download the SSL Expression of Interest - Application Form.
